The US Open of Surfing is here, and we couldn’t pass up the opportunity to share an important message with the thousands of visitors heading to Huntington Beach.

Now through mid-August, you can find an important message from OC San displayed on trash cans near the Huntington Beach Pier, reminding visitors: “Your pipes shouldn’t be wiping out. Only flush the 3 P’s: pee, poop, and toilet paper.”

It’s a fun, surf-inspired reminder that everything besides the 3 P’s (even “flushable” wipes) belongs in the trash. Even if you can’t see the trash cans for yourself, you can learn about What 2 Flush all year long on our What 2 Flush page!
