OC San is proud to be recognized as a Utility of the Future Today for our work in the Energy Generation & Recovery activity area.

This distinction celebrates the achievements of utilities that go beyond traditional wastewater treatment and serve as leaders in resource recovery, sustainability, and resilience for the communities they serve.

The Utility of the Future Today program is a partnership between the National Association of Clean Water Agencies, Water Environment Federation, the Water Research Foundation, the WateReuse Association, and the U.S. Water Alliance, with input from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Forty-one public and private utilities were recognized this year.
