OC San and the Orange County Water District (OCWD) recently unveiled GWRS Brew, a limited-edition beer made with purified water from the Groundwater Replenishment System, at the 2026 WateReuse Symposium.

Crafted by Brewery X and sponsored by H2O Innovations, the beer highlights the innovation behind GWRS, which has been producing a reliable, high-quality water supply for Orange County since 2008. As the world’s largest purification system for indirect potable reuse, GWRS produces 130 million gallons of water each day, enough water for one million people.
