Los Alamitos Trunk Sewer Construction Project – May 5, 2022
Construction continues in the cities of Los Alamitos and Seal Beach. Work is currently being done at night when sewer flows are low.
Manhole Rehabilitation Work
- Lexington Drive at Katella Ave. and northbound Los Alamitos Blvd. at Howard Ave.
- Week of May 8th*
- Nightwork, 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.
Pipe cleaning and grouting continues along southbound Los Alamitos Blvd. weeknights from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.
*Dates and times are subject to change due to operational factors or inclement weather.

What to Expect:
- Periodic traffic delays as a result of lane reductions and turn restrictions
- Increased noise level
- Lane closures
- Certain bus stops along the route may be affected, please watch for posted signs and visit www.OCTA.net for details
As a reminder, this project is cleaning the existing sewer line, reinforcing the pipe joints with chemical grout, and repairing/rehabilitating/replacing the manholes. Further details about the project can be found in the fact sheet.
