Our mission at the Orange County Sanitation District is “to protect public health and the environment by providing effective wastewater collection, treatment, and recycling.” This means that every day is World Environment Day and World Oceans Day at OC San.

We recognize that water is an invaluable resource, and we do our part to protect it and the environment, thiss why we recycle 100 percent of our reclaimable flow through our joint project with the Orange County Water District called the Groundwater Replenishment System.

OC San is proud of the efforts we take every day to protect public health and the environment. Our Ocean Monitoring Program continues to be a model for others throughout the nation. Join us in celebrating this week both of these important days! A healthy ocean and environment are essential to our future.
