Construction on the Orange Western Trunk Sewer Project is full steam ahead. Manhole work will be happening along the project area for the remainder of the project timeline. This work is necessary to enhance the aging infrastructure and extend the life of the regional sewer system. This manhole work is currently in the City of Buena Park and is expected to continue to the Cities of Anaheim and Cypress.

City of Buena Park

  • Where: Western Ave. just south of Crescent Ave. in the City of Buena Park.
  • When: Ongoing for the next two weeks. Weekdays, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.*

 What to Expect:

  • Periodic traffic delays because of lane reductions and turn restrictions
  • Increased noise level
  • Certain bus stops along the route may be affected, please watch for posted signs and visit www.OCTA.net for details

 Project Description

Manholes and sections of sewer pipeline on Western Avenue and Orange Avenue in the Cities of Buena Park, Anaheim, and Cypress will be rehabilitated to extend their service life. OC San will clean and inject chemical grout into the pipelines and rehabilitate or replace manholes along the highlighted section of the entire project area map. Small segments of pipe will also be replaced.
