LOCATION: Western Ave. between Tyler Ave. to Del Monte Dr.

The regional sewer project in Anaheim is nearing completion. Over the next few weeks, you’ll notice the removal of equipment such as bypass pumps and k-rail to complete the street restoration. As the final street restoration is occurring it may be necessary to temporarily close lanes. Specific details will be provided as we define the dates.

As a reminder, this project repaired a crucial component of the regional sewer infrastructure that provides continuous service for the community.

Day Work

• When: Ongoing – Winter 2023*
• Work Hours: Weekdays and occasional Saturdays; 8 a.m. – 9 p.m.

Night Work

• When: Friday, January 26*
• Work Hours: 7 p.m. – 5 a.m.

Impacts:

• Lane reductions and turn restrictions
• Parking restrictions
• Noise and dust
• Permanent traffic control until work is completed

Project Description

Manholes and sections of sewer pipeline on Western Avenue and Orange Avenue in the Cities of Buena Park, Anaheim, and Cypress will be rehabilitated to extend their service life. OC San will clean and inject chemical grout into the pipelines and rehabilitate or replace manholes along the highlighted section of the entire project area map. Small segments of pipe will also be replaced.
