After 30 years as part of the OC San family, our General Manager Jim Herberg has decided it’s time for him to embark on the next phase of his career…RETIREMENT. JimHerberg_photo_2022

Jim has been with OC San since 1986 (with a brief hiatus at our sister agency, the Orange County Water District from 1989-95) rising through the ranks of Engineer, Supervisor, Manager, Director of Operations and Maintenance, Director of Engineering and Assistant General Manager and finally the General Manager in 2013.

He has been a tremendous leader helping OC San embark on innovative and world-renowned projects. As GM his goal has been to make OC San a model agency, prepared to tackle unforeseen situations and be ready for the future demands of the industry. Today OC San stands stronger than ever, with long range plans to excel at every aspect its mission.

And while OC San is sad to see Jim leave, we also need to keep business moving along which leads us to a recruitment to find our next General Manager.
