OC San General Manager Rob Thompson recently joined a panel discussion during a webinar hosted by the American Academy of Environmental Engineers and Scientists (AAEES). The session, “Driving Innovation and Sustainability Through Asset Management,” focused on how public agencies are using asset management to shape a more sustainable future.

AAEES is a national leader in environmental engineering and science, known for Board Certification, ABET accreditation, and promoting continued improvements in environmental engineering and science education and practice.

During the webinar, Thompson highlighted OC San’s efforts to integrate new technologies, including Supercritical Water Oxidation and Biosolids Deep Well Injection, through its Strategic Planning and Asset Management Program. These initiatives help safeguard reliability today while preparing for future challenges.
