Night work is coming to the back to the City of Seal Beach as part of the Los Alamitos Trunk Sewer Project. Now that manhole rehabilitation and replacement is complete, a manhole needs to be abandoned. Once this phase is completed the construction crew will return for final paving. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve Orange County’s infrastructure.
City of Seal Beach
- Where: Southbound Seal Beach Blvd. at the intersection of St. Cloud Dr.
- When: Week of October 23 – End of October
- Work Hours: Weeknights from 6 p.m. – 6 a.m.
- Impacts: Lane closures, increased noise.
City of Los Alamitos
Final restoration work is being done in two areas of Los Alamitos to complete the manhole work. Our construction crew will be working at individual manhole locations along both work sites.

- Southbound on Los Alamitos Blvd. from Hedwig Dr. to Katella Ave.
- Eastbound on Katella Ave. from Oak St. to Los Alamitos Blvd.
- When: Week of October 30 – Mid November
- Work Hours: Weeknights from 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.
- Impacts: Lane closures, increased noise.

Project Description
OC San is rehabilitating two parallel sewers on north and southbound Seal Beach Blvd./ Los Alamitos Blvd., and along Katella Avenue, Oak Street, and Lexington Drive in the cities of Seal Beach and Los Alamitos. The work consists of removing calcium buildup at various pipe joints and injecting chemical grout to strengthen the pipe. Rehabilitation and/or replacement of over 70 manholes will also take place.
