The Los Alamitos Trunk Sewer Project continues to move along adjusting the work activities to maximize productivity and ensure the overall project schedule is unaffected. Upcoming and current activities include:Saturday Work:Â
Manhole repair work on northbound Los Alamitos Blvd. between Rossmoor Center Way and Bradbury Road.
March 5 and continue throughout the month of March.
Work hours 7 a.m. – p.m.
Nightwork:Â
Line cleaning and chemical grouting is taking place on Oak St., eastbound Katella Ave., and southbound Los Alamitos Blvd. This activity will continue for the next month.
Sunday – Thursday, 8 p.m. – 6 a.m.
Manhole weekday work on Los Alamitos Blvd. and nighttime work on Katella Avenue will resume over the next few weeks.
*Dates and times are subject to change due to operational factors or inclement weather.
 What to Expect:
- Periodic traffic delays as a result of lane reductions and turn restrictions
- Increased noise level
- Certain bus stops along the route may be affected, please watch for posted signs and visit www.OCTA.net for details
As a reminder, this project is cleaning the existing sewer line, reinforcing the pipe joints with chemical grout, and repairing/rehabilitating/replacing the manholes. Further details about the project can be found in the fact sheet.
