We are ringing in the new year with more construction activity to continue to improve the regional sewer system. Construction continues on Los Alamitos Blvd. and has now transitioned to Seal Beach Blvd.
Line cleaning and chemical grout injection is ongoing and manhole covers are being replaced in preparation for the manhole rehabilitation work which will begin later this month. Manhole work will begin on Lexington Drive and make its way up Katella Avenue onto Los Alamitos Blvd/ Seal Beach Blvd.

Project Description:
The purpose of this project is to remove calcium deposit from the pipe, reinforce leaking pipe joints, and replace or rehabilitate aging manholes.
Once completed, this project will extend the life of the regional sewer to provide reliable service to the community.
