John Frattali is OC San’s new Safety & Health Manager. John started his career in safety working as a consultant for several years, where he had the opportunity to work in the wastewater industry. Over the past five years at OC San, John served in different capacities within the Risk Management Division most recently as the Safety & Health Supervisor.
His technical expertise coupled with his inclusive and collaborative approach will serve him well in his new role managing OC San’s comprehensive safety and health programs, emergency planning, disaster response, and physical security.
John holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental and Occupational Health from California State University, Northridge, and is currently pursuing a Master’s in Business Administration from Columbia Southern University. He also holds multiple certifications, including Certified Safety Professional and Certified Industrial Hygienist.
And of special note, John has been awarded the Voluntary Protection Programs Participants’ Association (VPPPA) Safety Star of the Quarter, a cooperative program with OSHA. The VPP is one of several Cal/OSHA programs that encourage organizations to improve occupational safety and health. Congratulations John!
