Dover Dr Construction Continues

The Dover Drive Trunk sewer runs between Irvine Boulevard and Pacific Coast Highway in the City of Newport Beach. The Dover Drive Trunk Sewer Relief construction project will replace 7,200 feet of 15-18 inch diameter sewer pipeline with a larger, 24-inch pipeline.

The Dover Drive Trunk Sewer Relief construction continues on Dover Drive in the City of Newport Beach.  Work is being done in segments in order to minimize impacts to the public.  Crews are currently between Westcliff and Eton and will soon be moving to the next phase between Eton Place and Harrow Place.   This segment is shorter since we need to maintain resident access to and from their homes because these streets are cul-de-sacs. North and southbound Dover lanes will be closed between the two streets.

Once this phase is completed, work will move to the next phase on Dover Drive between Harrow Place and Mariners Way.

Please read the Construction Notification for more information.

Construction is anticipated to continue to fall of 2014.

Dates and times are subject to change due to unforeseen operational factors or inclement weather.

Throughout the project, there will be lane restrictions and detours which can cause traffic delays.  We encourage everyone to drive safely and obey the traffic control directions to ensure the safety of the public and our crews.
