This week OCSD Board Members are in Washington D.C. to talk with Congressional leaders about topics pertaining to the work we do. Some of the topics that we will be discussing are; permit term extensions to increase from five years to 10 years to enable the completion of projects, funding for the final expansion of the GWRS, the Food Waste to Energy Project and water related issues. We look forward to meeting with the various members of Congress, Senate, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, and the National Association of Clean Water Agencies and keeping those working relationships strong.
