California Water Professionals Appreciation Week is Here!
Happy Water Professionals Appreciation Week! And what a great week it is. This year’s Appreciation Week runs from Oct. 3 to 11. As a “silent utility,” OCSD is trying to make some noise for our wastewater team. This is the time where we highlight our dedicated water professionals who continue to perform essential work to protect public health and the environment. Through all the changes that have occurred this year, our OCSD team has stepped up and they continue to do so by adapting to the everchanging environment. Because of this, we want to say THANK YOU, and show them off on all our social media platforms so that you have a chance to say THANK YOU along with us.
Make sure to follow us @ocsewers to view some of the great work that our team is up to and leave a comment. They appreciate each and every single one of them.
Water Professionals Appreciation Week was established in 2017 to highlight the important role of water industry professionals and local public water agencies in ensuring safe and reliable water, wastewater, and recycled water in California. The resolution, authored by Sen. Bill Dodd, was sponsored by an Association of California Water Agencies-led coalition that included WateReuse California, California Municipal Utilities Association, California Association of Sanitation Agencies and California Water Association.
And remember, just like water is there for you 24/7, so are we.
