Los Alamitos Trunk Sewer Construction Project – November 18, 2021

Home >> News >> Los Alamitos Trunk Sewer Construction Project – November 18, 2021

Construction on the Los Alamitos Trunk Sewer Project continues to make progress. As work continues on Lexington Drive and Katella Avenue, crews are getting ready to move onto Los Alamitos Blvd.

The first segment of work on Los Alamitos Blvd. will be cleaning of the pipe, followed by inspection and grouting of the pipe joints. Once this is complete, manhole repair work will begin. During this phase, work will only occur on the northbound side of the street.

All cleaning and grouting must occur at night when flow in the sewer pipes is lower. Manhole work will vary between day and night as shown on the map. This is to address both, residential and commercial areas on this street.

On Lexington Drive and Katella Avenue the cleaning and grouting will soon be completed, manhole work will begin shortly after. All manhole work in this area will be done at night to minimize impact on businesses and traffic flow.
