The Orange County Sanitation District (OC San) will start construction later this month on the Orange Western Trunk Sewer Project. Manholes and sections of sewer pipeline on Orange Avenue and Western Avenue in the Cities of Buena Park, Anaheim, and Cypress will be rehabilitated to extend their service life.OC San will clean and inject chemical grout into the pipelines and rehabilitate or replace manholes along the highlighted section of the entire project area map (see below).

Starting Location

Construction will begin on Western Avenue and head southbound to Orange Avenue with line cleaning. The manhole activity and pipeline replacement will follow shortly behind the line cleaning.

What to Expect

• Periodic traffic delays as a result of lane reductions and turn restrictions
• Increased noise level
