Tuesday, October 18 marks the 50th Anniversary of the first major U.S. law to address water pollution- the Clean Water Act. OC San continues to honor the Clean Water Act by protecting the public’s health and environment through our award-winning Source Control Program which helps to decrease the amount of toxic pollutants entering the sewer.

The Clean Water Act was enacted to “restore and maintain the chemical, physical, and biological integrity of the Nation’s waters.”
